Jackie the Dog needs a home

Meet Jackie!



Looking for love?  Jackie's a girl who's got a lot to give; eager to please and loves kisses and snuggles. Found as a stray, she is believed to be about 4 years old and has been a very well behaved house guest in her foster home.  She plays nicely with her foster siblings, big and small and loves to meet other dogs. Also good with cats and kids. 



Jackie is still a bit underweight and is learning some new skills like walking on a leash and basic commands and she can still startle at loud noises but is easily reassured. On the other paw, she is fine in her crate and has been clean in the house. She would love to sleep on the bed with you but settles on her dog bed just fine.           



Jackie will help you stay in shape and get fresh air as she likes at least 2 walks a day to satisfy her hound nose and explore her world. A high, fenced yard is important to keep her from wandering and so far the only time she has barked is when she wants to play.
